Hi, I’m Meira. And yes, "Goodfriend" is my real last name! 

I’ve been painting for as long as I can remember—and I still get that magical feeling every time I pick up a brush.

For me, painting is a way to tune in. It helps me connect with the quiet beauty of life, with spirit, and with the deeper stories that live beneath the surface. Live painting especially feels like a kind of ceremony—honoring a moment, a connection, or a transition with presence and color.

I studied product design in college and have explored all kinds of creative paths since—from  building a bakery to teaching art and even designing a video game based on my childhood. But portraiture and soulful painting have always been the thread that ties it all together.

I love painting people’s energy, their light, their love. I’m inspired by nature, people-watching, mysticism, and the small everyday things that remind us we’re alive.
